The 34mm ring at low is too low.
It compares very favorably to my Arken's and Athlon's. It's a whole lot of bang for the buck. I couldn't wait for the mount to arrive so I got a Rigid/Arken overnight. I'm very happy with the scope. I may buy another one when my mount arrives from China.
After reading reviews about the scope, I thought I would give it a try. Reviewers noted that it was as good as more expensive scopes they owned. That was not the case with me. My scope had the crosshairs with dot reticle which also illuminated. The crosshair and dot were not visible with a dark background, even with the highest illumination. The glass was OK, but not really sharp enough to see the dot on the darker background. Looking through the scope you know it is a budget item, but perhaps good enough for its intended purpose.You get what you pay for. Just don’t expect to get a level of quality you didn’t pay for.

I ordered this on a whim & it was a bit redundant for another scope I have. It’s very light & great visibility on small targets out to 75 yards! I reached out to Discovery Opt & they exchanged it with no questions! I upgraded to the 4-24x HD & while it is heavier, I can see the whiskers on a dog at 150 yards! I couldn’t be happier with Discovery Optics ! Their products are awesome!
